MARK & KAREN - Managing Directors

Mark and Karen both have a passion for the outback and adventure and love to camp, fish, prospect and spend quality family time with their 2 sons. In the mid 1990's, they designed and fabricated a storage system for the back of their 4WD to assist in managing the equipment they seemed to always need to carry around for those off-road adventures. 15 years later, and 60,000 storage products on, Black Widow has become the market leader in innovative vehicle storage solutions. Sons Hayden and Jason are both integral members of the Black Widow Team.

Mark and Karen still love travelling our great country testing and developing new ideas and would be delighted to meet you in their travels or in person at one of the many Trade, Caravan and Camping shows that they attend.

Jason has a Bachelor of Business, and has recently completed his MBA. He has also completed courses in Welding, Auto CAD and SQL Databases. Jason's diverse background holds him in high esteem with the Black Widow staff. His constant strive to improve the efficient running of the factory are only offset by his passion for Fishing, outback adventure, and of course footy (Go the Doggie's).

Mandy has 20 years experience in the financial services industry with one of Australia's leading Banks where she held a number of senior positions in Corporate Finance. In particular, Mandy is utilising her expertise gained in business development and strategic management to further position Black Widow as market leader in the delivery of quality product, and excellence in service.

Passions are the great outdoors and her Ford Cougar.

Hayden oversees component manufacture, product development, quality inspection and production scheduling. Black Widow under Hayden's guidance, do all design and manufacture in house. Hayden's attention to detail and skill with computers and C.N.C machinery has to be seen to be believed!!

He has his diploma in Engineering Drafting and automated computer design (C.A.D) and Cert III in welding and sheet metal.

In his spare time you will usually find him working on his new Hilux Crew Cab, going to Ute musters and 4 Wheel driving.

Darren is a sales professional with over twenty years' experience working in all aspects of sales from retail and wholesale to commercial and corporate.

Darren brings a wealth of Sales Training, Marketing Strategy and Relationship Building skills to the company.

Darren is currently completing his Master's in Business.

Being the outdoor type, Darren loves to hit the hills on his mountain bike or go rock climbing, bush walking, skiing, snowboarding, running and have the occasional round of golf.

Tash has a Cert II in small business and Cert II in business Administration. Her attention to detail and pleasant personality are one of our greatest assets in ensuring customer satisfaction.

A new Mum, Tash doesn't get much time for 4X4 outings at the moment, but the passion is still there.

Chances are when you call or visit, Kristen will be your first point of contact at Black Widow.

David comes to us from a background of graphic design for the newspaper and advertising industries. Many years of hands on experience as these industries have become digital strong-holds see David putting the shine on the company image, advertising and signage.

You'll find David on the open road on his Harley when he's not on the computer.
