"Black Widow" as we know it today, was born in 1995. The idea of a spider and the association of web appealed to Mark, whilst Karen was tickled with the fact that the female Black Widow Spider killed its mate after she had had her way with him.

Both Mark and Karen and their two boys Jason and Hayden have been camping and fishing for as long as they can remember. It was during these years before Black Widow started trading in 1995, that many of the products were made and put into service as storage solutions for the family.

It started snowballing when a friend wanted product, then another, then a friend of a friend etc. It was one day at the kids footy when another dad saw us roll out the fridge and said where did you get that? After the story was told we found ourselves doing a presentation to PowerCor. The rest is history.

The business commenced operations in New Gisborne industrial estate in 1995. The rent was cheap and it was close to home. Since then, Black Widow Enterprises has relocated twice to larger premises to accommodate growth. Presently the business is owned and operated from premises located at 68 Barry Road, New Gisborne.

We now have the latest available C.N.C manufacturing machinery on site making us more competitive, flexible and quick to market on new products as the need arises or as vehicles are released.

Black Widow Enterprises P/L manufacture aftermarket vehicle storage solutions and accessories to suit 4WD, Recreational Vehicle's and light Commercial Vehicles.

In the 4WD and recreational vehicles market, product is distributed within Australia and Europe through over 120 quality retail outlets comprising ARB, TJM and highly regarded independent stores.

In the Commercial vehicle market, product is distributed directly by Black Widow in conjunction with strategic business partnerships.

Strict quality control and assurance checks are carried out in all parts of the manufacture and assembly process.

All storage systems and relevant products where safety is crucial are tested and rated to Australian and New Zealand Design Standards.

Black Widow are 100% Australian Owned and all products are made in Australia.
